Ritmo y Apoyo supports some often-overlooked communities at the heart of Dominican life:

Children who are excluded from the formal school system due to legal, economic, or documentation barriers — leaving them without access to basic literacy or education.

Local dancers and artists who carry the culture we all love, yet often have no safety net in times of crisis.

Young people who, through our projects, can develop personally and professionally: expressing themselves, learning to read and write, mastering languages, managing clients, navigating legal paperwork, and ultimately grow as teachers and community leaders.
We believe that those who benefit from Dominican culture — whether through travel, dance, or music — have a beautiful opportunity to give back with dignity, consistency, and love.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create real, lasting impact in the Dominican Republic by opening doors to literacy for underserved children, nurturing young people’s growth both personally and professionally, and providing emergency relief for local dancers — so that education, opportunity, and cultural preservation are not privileges, but rights.
